| Ayurveda is the oldest health & medical
science practiced in the Indian subcontinent. Gujarat Ayurved
University is the only University exclusively devoted to Ayurvedic
studies and research and it offers regular Ayurvedic graduation,
post graduation, Ph.D. courses besides special diploma and certificate
courses for Indian and foreign professionals. The University
has different full-fledged Ayurvedic departments as envisaged
by CCIM, an Ayurvedic Pharmacy, which is engaged in manufacturing
of various Ayurvedic medicines as required by the Hospitals
and for research activities of the University, herbarium, library,
medicinal plants garden and well equipped Pharmaceutical Chemistry,
Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Biochemistry and Pathology Laboratories,
which are manned by highly qualified professionals. |

| The past decade has witnessed a tremendous
surge of interest in Ayurvedic medicines throughout the world.
Taking into consideration the world wide present and projected
requirement for high quality technologists having capacity of
producing quality drugs for Ayurveda and other allied traditional
systems of medicine and also the necessity to control and maintain
their quality in accordance with latest international G.M.P.
and G.L.P. concepts, Gujarat Ayurved University under the Institute
of Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Sciences having obtained NOC from
Gujarat State Government offers the following courses. The knowledge
acquired through these courses will be useful for manufacturing
and quality control of classical drugs used in Ayurveda and
other medicinal plant based traditional systems of medicine. |
